I am a wife to my wonderful husband. And a mom to our beautiful daughter. I am Idaho born and raised. I am a photographer, volleyball coach, painter, and birth doula.
I am a DONA trained doula who is passionate about all things birth, pregnancy, and postpartum. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always loved the idea of having a homebirth and helping others have natural births. I remember dressing up for school as a midwife when I was in second grade. As I got older my passion only grew. I did my DONA training as a twenty year old and became excited to help moms get whatever birth they want. I became pregnant only a few weeks after my training so I put my doula journey on hold. After I gave birth I became even more excited as I started my doula journey.
I hope that I can help every family I meet with to plan and have a birth that they are satisfied with. I strive to protect the birth space as a sacred space to be respected.
As a mom, doula, and a photographer, Mattingly believes birth is an empowering event that can give mothers a new kind of confidence. She strives to facilitate a powerful and comforting birth experience for families. And her passion for photography helps her capture that experience to create lasting memories.
